Abstract
This study aimed to measure and analyze the impact of training on
improving the performance of employees of the Maintenance Department
"Sonatrach" in Laghouat. The elements of the study were identified with an
independent variable represented by the training, and a dependent variable
represented by the improvement of the performance of the employees, in its four
axes (behaviours and work ethics, discipline and behavior, motivation of
employees to performance, results).
The study used the descriptive analytical method, and to achieve the
objectives of this study, a questionnaire was prepared and distributed to 40
employees, and 34 questionnaires were collected, we excluded four of them who
were not valid for the study, and 30 questionnaires remained valid for the study,
for the purpose of collecting information and data, and the results were analyzed
and studied using the spss program and the modeling technology of structural
equations via Smart Pls.
It was concluded that there is a statistically significant effect of training to
improve the performance of employees of the "Sonatrach" Maintenance
Department in Laghouat, at a significance level of 0.05, which appears at the
level of behaviors and work ethic, discipline and behavior, employee motivation
to perform, results, and there are no differences in sample members' attitudes
toward training, and this is what obliges the institution to pay great attention to
it, while there are differences in the personal and functional variables due to the
variable (gender).
