Abstract
The current study aims to reveal the relationship between psychological
hardness and motivation for achievement among the teachers of specialized
education at the School of Hearing Impaired Children in Laghouat. The study
also seeks to know the level of psychological hardness and the level of
motivation for achievement among the sample members. The researcher used
the descriptive approach
To collect the data of the study, the psychological hardness scale was used,
prepared by "Imad Mukhaimer". He codified the psychological hardness scale
on the Algerian environment, "Bashir Maamria" and the achievement motivation
scale prepared by the researcher "Mohamed Jamil Mansour", which includes 20
items in its final form, falling under (5) dimensions. It was applied to the study
sample estimated at 30 specialized teachers, after data collection and statistical
analysis based on the statistical package program for social sciences (SPSS 19)
with the use of the following methods to verify the results of the study: Pearson
correlation coefficient, one-way analysis of variance test and two-way analysis
of variance, test ( t).
The study yielded the following results:
1- We expect a medium level of psychological hardness among specialized
education teachers
2- We expect a medium level of achievement motivation among specialized
education teachers
3- There is a relationship between psychological hardness and achievement
motivation among specialized education teachers
