The thesis aims to investigate the positive effects of using a good structured virtual, social network in teaching academic English inside the department of English at Amar Telidji University : both , the students and the teachers are concerned for the good learning process, the setting will be in a virtual social network for learning purposes which includes pages ,groups ,and forums . The hypothesis is about well structured program of social networking in an academic setting that would enhance the learners skills especially making them more close to their higher education in a cooperative space , it would help them to master language, and then to develop their inner capacities especially the productive skills, for example there will be excessive use of the writing skills where the students will be unaware of this process so they would gain it without difficulties, in addition their receptive skills would be enhanced through the UATL book process. The first year students can be regarded as an example for this work inside the ICTE classes so the information inside and outside their classes is a main feature to test the UATL book efficiency.
