Abstract

ثمة تزايد مطَّرد في ربط المجتمعات بالإنترنت. ومع أنَّ الإنترنت تجعل حياتنا أسهل، فإنها قد تعرضنا لخطر الجريمة السيبرانية. إذ إنَّ مخاطر عالم الفضاء السيبراني الذي لا حدود له يمكن أن تتفاقم بتزايد انخراط أفراد وجماعات إجرامية منظمة يمكن أن تؤذينا. وتتجلَّى هذه المخاطر في أشكال مختلفة. والإجرام المعتمد على الفضاء السيبراني لن يكون ممكناً بدون الإنترنت والتكنولوجيات الرقمية، وهو يتخذ من التكنولوجيا هدفاً (على سبيل المثال، باستحداث فيروسات حاسوبية وتعميمها ونشرها، وشَنِّ هجمات على مرافق تكنولوجيا المعلومات الوطنية الحساسة). والجرائم التي يتيحها الفضاء السيبراني هي، من ناحية أخرى، جرائم يسهِّلها التزايد المطرد في قدراتنا التكنولوجية (مثل الاحتيال الإلكتروني والتجارة الإلكترونية في سلع غير مشروعة، مثل المخدِّرات أو الأسلحة النارية، واستغلال الأطفال والتعدي عليهم جنسيًّا من خلال الإنترنت) وللجريمة السيبرانية أيضاً صلة بخصوصيات الناس. إذ إنَّ طريقة تصرُّف الشخص على الإنترنت يمكن أيضاً أن تكشف عن بيانات خصوصية وأن تسهِّل تعرُّضه لأخطار مختلفة في الفضاء السيبراني. وإلى جانب ذلك، تتعلق الخصوصية بأفعال الأفراد، ولا سيما بالكيفية التي يمكن أن يؤذي بها الناس بعضهم بعضاً (على سبيل المثال، من خلال تداول صور شخصية دون موافقة الشخص المعني). ومع تغلغل التكنولوجيات الرقمية في كل جانب من جوانب حياتنا، تزداد أيضاً أهمية أمان التواصل عبر الإنترنت وحمايته. There is a steady increase in the connectivity of societies to the Internet. Although the Internet makes our lives easier, it may also expose us to the risk of cybercrime. The dangers of the borderless world of cyberspace can be exacerbated by the increasing involvement of individuals and organized criminal groups that can harm us. These risks manifest themselves in different forms. Cyber-reliant crime would not be possible without the Internet and digital technologies, and it takes technology as a target (eg by creating, disseminating and disseminating computer viruses, launching attacks on sensitive national IT facilities). The crimes enabled by cyberspace, on the other hand, are crimes facilitated by the exponential increase in our technological capabilities (such as electronic fraud and e-commerce in illicit goods such as drugs or firearms, and the sexual exploitation and abuse of children through the Internet). Cybercrime also has to do with people's privacy. The way a person behaves on the Internet can also reveal privacy data and facilitate his exposure to various dangers in cyberspace. Besides, privacy concerns the actions of individuals, in particular how people can harm one another (for example, through the circulation of personal photos without the consent of the person concerned). As digital technologies permeate every aspect of our lives, the importance of the safety and protection of online communication is also growing.
