Abstract
Our study aimed to reveal the relationship between each of the motivation for
academic achievement and exam anxiety among a sample of secondary school students,
and it also aimed to examine the possible differences between male and female genders
and the study division. Laghouat Province.
Our study started from the problem of whether there is a relationship between
academic achievement motivation and test anxiety among second year secondary
students.
We have chosen the sample in a random, accidental way, where the number of 70
students, including 32 males and 38 females from the second year secondary school
students of all classes.
We also relied on the descriptive analytical approach in this study, and a
questionnaire was applied after verifying its validity and reliability. The study reached
the following results: There are no differences in the level of motivation for academic
achievement and exam anxiety among secondary school students, not attributable to the
gender of the students or their academic division, except There is a relationship between
academic achievement motivation and test anxiety among second year secondary school
students.
