Abstract

The study aims to identify the relationship between Perceived Psychological Stress and Personality Patterns among doctors and nurses during the covid-19 period over the school-year (2021-2022). To achieve the objectives of this research, the study relied on its methodology on the descriptive approach, using perceived psychological stress scale by (Cohen,1988) and personality patterns scale by (Hermann, 2002), which their psychometric properties have been confirmed on a sample of 80 member, intentionally and purposefully. After a deep statistical data processing, the following findings were reached : - There is no effect of personality patterns on the perceived psychological stress of doctors and nurses in the time of Covid 19 -The level of perceived psychological stress is low among the study sample members . -The behavioral pattern (C) is the dominant one among the study sample members . -There are no statistically significant differences in the perceived psychological stress and personality patterns related to the gender variable among the study sample members . -There are no statistically significant differences in the perceived psychological stress and personality patterns related to the profession’s type (doctors/ nurses) variable among the study sample members . -There are no statistically significant differences in the perceived psychological stress and personality patterns related to the professional experience variable among the study sample members
