Abstract
Title of the Study: The Effect of a Proposed Educational Program on Developing
Certain Motor Sensory Indicators Among Secondary School Students – A Field Study
at Sheikh Al-Kunti Secondary School in Zaouiat Kenta, Adrar
Objective of the Study: This research seeks to gain a deeper understanding of the
impact of a proposed sports program on enhancing certain motor sensory indicators
among secondary school students. It explores the various factors influencing these
indicators and aims to provide practical, actionable recommendations to improve the
program’s effectiveness in enhancing students’ motor balance. Furthermore, it assesses
the program's ability to improve students' muscle control and motor accuracy,
ultimately contributing to the development of training programs for teachers and
coaches to ensure effective implementation and support for students in refining their
motor sensory skills.
Research Problem: To what extent does the proposed educational sports program
influence the development of specific motor sensory indicators in secondary school
students?
Main Hypothesis: "The proposed educational sports program has a significant
positive effect on improving balance, coordination, and motor control in secondary
school students".
Study Population: The population of this study consists of 350 male and female
students enrolled at Sheikh Al-Kunti Secondary School in Zaouiat Kenta, Adrar.
Study Sample: A random sample of 20 male and female students, representing all
three grade levels, was selected from the total population.
Research Methodology: The researcher employed the descriptive-analytical method,
which is appropriate for the nature of the study.
Study Tools: A questionnaire was utilized as the primary tool for data collection.
Key Findings:
The proposed sports program significantly improved key motor sensory indicators,
such as balance, coordination, and flexibility, in secondary school students.
Students participating in the program demonstrated enhanced physical abilities,
which contributed to better performance in motor activities.
The program also fostered greater focus and discipline within the classroom, which
positively affected the academic performance of some students.
The study revealed individual differences in students’ responses to the program,
highlighting the importance of tailoring sports programs to meet the diverse
abilities of students.
Study Recommendations: Incorporating sports programs into the school curriculum,
Customizing programs to meet the specific needs of students, Providing training for
teachers to enhance the program’s implementation, Conducting regular assessments to
track student progress.
