Abstract

This study aims to understand how emotional intelligence contributes to the understanding of the managerial dispute inside the Directorate of Maintenance (Sonatrach in Laghouat DML). Applying the program (spss version 24) to unload the survey data and the program (PLS version 3) to perform structural averages least partial squares tests on the results in order to test the hypotheses and either confirm or deny them. The study found that there is a statistically significant relationship between emotional intelligence and managing organizational conflict among managers in the Directorate of Maintenance (Sonatrach in Laghouat DML) at the level of morale (a = 0.05). This relationship is caused by self-motivation (motivation), as the study also found (gender, age group, seniority, educational level).
