Abstract
The current study aimed to reveal the relationship between
occupational stress and job performance among nurse workers, where
the analytical descriptive approach was used, which is commensurate
with the nature of this study, and to collect data, the questionnaire tool
was applied to a sample consisting of (35) male and female nurses at
the 240-bed Colonel Lotfi Hospital in Laghouat After subjecting the
results to statistical treatment using the statistical package for social
sciences SPSS version 22, the study yielded the following results:
There is a relationship between occupational stress and job
performance among nurses at the 240-bed military hospital in
Laghouat.
There is a high level of occupational stress among nurses at the
240-bed military hospital in Laghouat.
There are statistically significant differences in the level of
occupational stress due to the gender variable among the nurses
at the 240-bed military hospital, Laghouat.
There are no statistically significant differences in the level of
occupational stress due to the seniority variable with the
difference in years of experience among nurses at the 240-bed
military hospital, Laghouat.
There are statistically significant differences in the level of job
performance due to the gender variable among the nurses at the
240-bed military hospital, Laghouat.
There are no statistically significant differences in the level of
job performance due to the seniority variable according to the
years of experience among the nurses at the 240-bed military
hospital in Laghouat.
