Abstract
Description
The present study aims to identify the nature of the relationship between organizational culture and its various dimensions (shared values and beliefs, administrative practices, and institutional symbols and rituals) and the level of performance of employees in sports facilities, through its application to the "Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz" sports complex in Bechar Province. To achieve this objective, the descriptive analytical method was adopted, and a purposive sample of 25 employees was selected from different functional categories (administrative staff, technicians, and maintenance, cleaning, and security workers). A questionnaire was used as the main data collection tool, consisting of 26 items distributed across two main axes: dimensions of organizational culture and level of job performance. After data collection and statistical analysis using SPSS, the study reached several findings, most notably: the existence of a statistically significant positive correlation between organizational culture dimensions and employee performance, with a correlation coefficient of (0.62) between administrative practices and performance, and (0.68) between organizational commitment and performance, indicating that the sense of belonging and pride in the workplace is the most influential factor in improving performance. The results also showed that the "use of power" dimension had the least impact compared to other dimensions. Based on these findings, the study recommended enhancing the culture of commitment and belonging among employees, developing administrative practices to become more transparent and participatory, reconsidering the incentive and reward system to be more fair and motivating, balancing administrative firmness with flexibility in dealing with employees, and continuing to conduct periodic studies to assess the reality of organizational culture within sports facilities.
