Abstract

This dissertation sheds light on the adopted policy by the U.S. especially during the Cold War and how culture had a great influence on making these policies. We are going to mention the roots of making these foreign policies and how it was established by policymakers. The main purpose of this research is about the relation between the culture and the establishment of the foreign policy, and also it shows the impact of both the two World Wars and the Cold War in particular on the American society and how was the role of media and television in fighting the spread of communism. In this research we are going to tackle the impact of the Cold War on film production, music, literature and even the public opinion
