Étude et Réalisation d’une application de Dimensionnement des câbles dans des Installations Monophasées et Triphasées

Abstract

This work aims to study and implement an application to calculate the section of electrical conductors in both single-phase and three-phase systems. The main purpose is to provide an application to calculate the section of electric cables by choosing the necessary protection and the type of load, and we have adopted Microsoft Excel for this purpose. We have divided our work into the following chapters: The first chapter is dedicated to give an overview about electrical cables and their types. However; the second chapter is intended for the explanation of the methods used for the calculation of the dimensions of the cables, according to the selection of the type of load and the type of protection. Finally, the third chapter discusses the practical steps for implementing the application using the EXCEL program and comparing it to results used in other similar programs.
