dc.description.abstractThis present study is conducted to point out the role of vocabulary in improving the reading comprehension level of Master students of chemistry at the University of Laghouat. Our work is an attempt to diagnose the problematic areas that led to the reading comprehension difficulties. Consequently, we have tried to identify the causes behind their appearance in the first place, where we have actually found that these problems are due to the students’ lack of vocabulary in both General English and English for Science and Technology that is why they have the poor level in English
