Abstract

he study aimed to identify the level of cognitive distortions among a sample of drug addicts in the Intermediate Center for Addiction Treatment, as well as to identify the differences in the level of cognitive distortions according to the variables of educational level and housing. An addict from the Intermediate Center for Addiction Treatment in Laghouat, and after statistical treatment, the results of the study adopted the following: The level of cognitive distortions among drug addicts is high. -Many cognitive distortions appear in a high way, the most important of which are: ignoring the positives, comparing oneself with others, random conclusion, and emotional inference in Gene. The level of the rest of the cognitive distortions was average. -There are statistically significant differences in the level of cognitive distortions among drug addicts, according to the educational level variable, so that it was high among those with a secondary level compared to those with a university and intermediate level. -There are no differences in the cognitive distortions among drug addicts according to the variable of the residential area.
