Abstract

n the subject of our study, we dealt with the evaluation of number processing and the detection of arithmetic difficulties using the Zaryki battery in a sample of students. The third year of primary school in the Wilayat of Al-Bayd, where the study aimed to reveal how to develop their account, so we asked the following question: - Do third year primary students face difficulties in arithmetic? - What is the level of number processing at the third year of primary school students? - Can calculation difficulties be detected using the Zaraiki battery? We relied on a sample of 10 cases who had difficulties in calculating, which were chosen on purpose and with the help of the parameters, by adopting the following criteria: - Low academic achievement, especially in mathematics - They do not suffer from any health problem or psychological or sensory disorders - They continue their studies on a regular basis - The year of schooling in the phase of the third year - The results obtained in the child’s number assessment and arithmetic battery In order to achieve the goal of the study, it was relied on the Zaraiki battery, which was adapted to the Algerian environment.Arithmetic disorders, evaluation, primary school students, Zaraiki's battery.
