Abstract
n the subject of our study, we dealt with the evaluation of number processing and the
detection of arithmetic difficulties using the Zaryki battery in a sample of students.
The third year of primary school in the Wilayat of Al-Bayd, where the study aimed to reveal
how to develop their account, so we asked the following question:
- Do third year primary students face difficulties in arithmetic?
- What is the level of number processing at the third year of primary school students?
- Can calculation difficulties be detected using the Zaraiki battery?
We relied on a sample of 10 cases who had difficulties in calculating, which were chosen on
purpose and with the help of the parameters, by adopting the following criteria:
- Low academic achievement, especially in mathematics
- They do not suffer from any health problem or psychological or sensory disorders
- They continue their studies on a regular basis
- The year of schooling in the phase of the third year
- The results obtained in the child’s number assessment and arithmetic battery
In order to achieve the goal of the study, it was relied on the Zaraiki battery, which was
