Abstract

This study aimed to reveal a relationship between emotional intelligence and innovative thinking in children from the teachers' point of view and to reveal the differences in emotional intelligence and innovative thinking according to the variables of gender, age and years of seniority in education. The sample of the study was 40 individuals, 14 males and 26 females, from primary education teachers in two different primary schools, who were deliberately selected : 1. There is no statistically significant correlation in emotional intelligence by gender among primary school students. 2. There is no statistically significant correlation in innovative thinking by gender among primary school students. 3. There is no statistically significant correlation in emotional intelligence by age among primary school students. 4. There is no statistically significant correlation in innovative thinking by age among primary school students. 5. There is no statistically significant correlation in innovative thinking according to seniority among primary school students. 6. There is no statistically significant correlation in emotional intelligence according to seniority among primary school students .emotional intelligence - innovative thinking. kid -Elementary Education.
