Abstract
This study sought to reveal the values contained in the book of our Arabic language for the
fourth grade of the primary stage in Algeria, including the reading texts, archives and
accompanying images of these texts, which began teaching from the academic year
2017/2018
In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers used the method of content
analysis. They designed and prepared the study tool in the form of a list that contains six
main areas of values: values of religion and ethics, values of science, culture and
achievement, , Political values, aesthetic values, practical values.
The content of the texts in the Arabic language book was analyzed for the fourth year of the
primary stage, and the frequencies and percentages were used as statistics . interpretation
of the results, the following were reached:
The texts in the Arabic language book for the fourth year were based on the values
of religion and ethics by a percentage of (16.66%).
Texts in the book of Arabic language for the fourth year primary focused on the
values of science, culture and collection by a percentage of (18.78%).
Texts in the Arabic language book for the fourth year focused on environmental and
nature values by (27.2%).
Texts in the Arabic language book for the fourth year focused on political values by a
percentage of (17.27%).
Texts in the Arabic language book for the fourth year focused on aesthetic values by
a percentage of (15.15%.)
Texts in the Arabic language book for the fourth year were focused on practical
values with a percentage of (4.84%)
