Abstract
In recent years, specialists have shown an interest in the study of bullying in the workplace. This phenomenon is characterized by hostile actions on the part of an actor which have a detrimental effect on the target and the work environment.
The aim of this survey is to shed light on the prevalence of a major psychosocial risk: workplace mobbing. To this end, a descriptive study was carried out on a probability sample of 250 doctors at Laghouat hospitals. Psychological violence was explored using Heinz Leymann's inventory, and the descriptive and analytical analysis were carried out using SPSS. This research revealed that the prevalence of mobbing as defind by Leymann is (15.2%), while that of reported mobbing is (37.2%). The immediate implementation of prevention and management strategies and policies is more than justified.
