Abstract

This study is about "The impact of new urban housing on traditional neighborhood relations" A field study in the municipality of Qasr alHieran, State of Al-Ghawat, a note to obtain the master certificate of urban sociology prepared by the Taliban "Helis Abdelkader and Yahia Saihi" under the supervision of Dr. "Atta Allah" The study examines the extent to which the new urban neighborhoods affect the traditional neighborhood relations among the population and we fall under the following sub questions: 1/Does the new urban housing style contribute to the impact of traditional neighborhood relations? 2/Does Socio-economic inequality contribute to the decline or strengthening of neighborly relations among them in the new residential neighborhoods? 3/Does the architectural and urban design of the neighborhood contribute to the weakening or strengthening of neighborly relations between the new residential population? The study also relied on the descriptive approach, which is based on describing the phenomenon and the subject. Data collection tools. Based on the observation and the questionnaire, we chose the random sample in which individuals are randomized. Finally, they concluded that the new urban housing has influenced traditional neighborhood relations.
