Abstract
The study aims to identify the cultural background of the level of
reality of the culture of family dialogue with its dimensions and its
relationship to school bullying behavior among adolescents by
targeting students of secondary education institutions in Laghouat.
And the study population consisted of second and third-year
secondary students, whose number was 44 students. The study tool
consisted of two questionnaires, the first measuring the level of
culture of family dialogue among the members of the study sample,
while the second questionnaire measured the level of bullying in the
school. The results of the study showed: The level of culture of family
dialogue from the point of view of secondary school students is
average, the degree of adoption of the phenomenon of school bullying
is very low, and there was a statistically significant inverse
relationship between family dialogue and school bullying, as the
results showed that the higher the level of family dialogue, the better
in the environment In families, the phenomenon of school bullying
decreased, while there are no statistically significant differences in
family dialogue according to the gender variable, and there are no
statistically significant differences in school bullying at school
according to the gender and educational level variables. Among the
most important recommendations and proposals: benefiting from
technological developments in activating a culture of the joint
dialogue between members of society in a manner commensurate with
its traditions and customs, and strengthening the role of the media in
the importance and benefits of a culture of dialogue. And interest in
developing psychological security to reduce bullying behavior at
school.
