Abstract

This study aims to investigate the role of industrial zones in supporting and developing emerging enterprises in Algeria, by shedding light on the reality of emerging enterprises and the requirements for their success and how to support them through industrial zones. In order for the latter to provide an appropriate investment climate and environment to achieve the dimensions of sustainable development, efforts have been intensified to advance the industrial zones in conjunction with the creation of new ministries since the year 2020, in particular in order to provide the appropriate business climate for the success of these companies in Algeria. Starting with the creation of a new legal and legislative framework that removed the confusion from the concept of start-up companies, and the development of new financing devices specifically directed to emerging institutions, as well as the initiation of the creation of industrial poles dedicated to emerging companies. Industrial zones are considered one of the most important entrances that contribute to the support and development of emerging enterprises, given that they are an important driver to push the pace of development of emerging enterprises, in addition to the role they play in promoting them and raising their competitiveness, especially with the globalization of the economy and its openness, and Algeria has paid great attention to the process of rehabilitating these The regions and their modernization, especially as they depend on the structures that were established in the seventies. This study aims to shed light on the real role played by the industrial zones in the development and development of emerging enterprises and in creating the appropriate atmosphere for them through the facilities and assistance they provide to these institutions. We also highlight the role it plays through its contribution to promoting creativity and innovation, by trying to analyze the situation of the industrial zone and areas of activity in the state of Laghouat.
