Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship of the class climate to educational achievement, as well as the role of the teacher in providing an effective classroom environment capable of communicating the right knowledge to the pupil and then influencing their levels of achievement. In order to achieve this goal, the researchers applied the descriptive approach, relying on the questionnaire as a basic tool for collecting information and data (the class climate scale), which contains 27 items distributed to a sample of 88 pupils in the fourth year ( Almosalaha and Chlaouchi Djelloul high schools in Laghouat ). After validation, statistical processing was carried out through the Social Science Statistical Packages Programme 22, Relying on a range of statistical methods, namely, arithmetic averages, standard deviation, the Pearson coefficient and the test t. The study produced the following results: * There is a statistically significant correlation between the school climate and the educational achievement of individual pupils. * There are statistically significant differences in the class climate among pupils in the study sample, which are attributed to the heterosexual. * There are statistically significant differences in the level of educational achievement of pupils in the study sample.
