Abstract

Introduction: Hydrocephalus is defined as a disorder of the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) hydrodynamics resulting in active dilation of the ventricular cavities and often the subarachnoid spaces. Materials and Methods: This is a descriptive retrospective study based on 26 medical records over a period of 17 months from December 31, 2021, to May 31. The main objective was to study the management, immediate, and long-term outcomes of patients operated for hydrocephalus in the neurosurgery department of MIXED Hospital in LAGHOUAT.
