dc.description.abstractReligious architecture is one of the most important buildings that have seen interest through the ages and why not, which determines the religious identity of the society and its holiness to the religion that follows it, where this topic was chosen to study religious architecture during the period of the French occupation in laghout and to learn more about it we will study the case of two heritage owners and religious, namely the Mosque of Safah and the Old Church (present-day Municipal Museum), two archeological heritages inherited from the Period of French colonialism and two witnesses to it, characterized by their unique architectural character and What is new to the city, where it will address a comparison affecting several aspects of architecture, including the decorative between the Safah Mosque and the old church, from which we will draw several important results
