The fundamental question addressed in our study is: What is the scientific value of Judge Abdulwahhab's choices in his book "Al-Talqeen"? And to what extent does this value contribute to the support and service of the Maliki school of thought? To answer these questions, the study consists of an introduction, two chapters, and a conclusion, employing a descriptive-analytical methodology. In the first chapter, which is the theoretical section, we discussed the Baghdad Maliki school, highlighting its important characteristics and role in the Maliki school of thought. We also addressed the author's translation and its scholarly and literary impact. Additionally, we introduced the book "Al-Talqeen" and its scientific significance, as well as the judge's methodology in its compilation. As for the scientific-applied section, we defined juristic choices, Hajj (pilgrimage), and Umrah (minor pilgrimage). Then we presented the most significant issues selected by the judge, may God have mercy on him, in his book "Al-Manasik" (The Rituals) and related matters. We highlighted the opinions and preferences of this jurist, aiming to revive some of the heritage he left in Islamic jurisprudence in general and, specifically, the Maliki school of thought. Finally, we mentioned the most important results we reached and provided recommendations. One notable result is that the judge, may God have mercy on him, was not blindly adherent or biased towards his Maliki school of thought. He sought the truth and demonstrated this in his choices and deviations from the opinions of the scholars of his school in certain matters.
