Abstract This memorandum dealt with the issue of the ruling on women traveling in modern means of transportation, and we have touched on Defining the reality of women's travel and modern means of transportation, and after that we clarified the provisions of women's travel and residence in other than their place, and we have divided this study into: An introduction, two chapters, and a conclusion. As for the introduction: it is a general overview of the woman’s travel and her stay in other than her place, in which we discussed the reasons for our choice of this topic and the importance of the topic and its objectives. The first chapter: we talked about the fact that women travel and modern means of transportation, where in the first topic: the reality of travel, its legitimacy, the distance of travel and the period for which it is authorized, and the second topic: the means of transport that are used in travel, and finally the third topic: the controls and effects of travel in modern means of transportation . As for the second chapter: we clarified the provisions of the woman’s travel and residence in other than her place, where in the first topic: the reality of the forbidden person and its conditions, and as for the second topic: the sayings of the jurists in the ruling on the woman’s travel without a mahram, and finally the third topic: the woman’s residence in other than her country. And a conclusion with the most important findings and suggested recommendations. The first: that the woman should be keen on permissible travel and maintaining her legal hijab.
