- The leniency of the French colonial administration in dealingwith black feet, whichenabledthem to control the political and economic management of Algeria.
- The weakness of colonial rule in resolving the conflictbetween the FLN and the French administration.
- The impact of General de Gaulle'spolicy in the shadow of the FifthRepublic on the strength of the Algerian revolution, especiallyafterhis recognition of the right of the Algerian people to self-determination.
- The emergence of an opponent of a Gaullistpolicyconsisting of black feet and some of the most important commanders of the French army in Algeria, the OAS.
- The coup stalled on the opposition sidebecause of itspoororganization and planning to achieveit.
- The negativerepercussions of the coup by relying on terroristacts to recoverAlgeriais French, and thisiswhat the secret armyorganizationrepresented in bothAlgeria and Paris.
- The general command of Paris, such as General John Ole and Louis Jukes, moved to Algeria to assess the results of the failed coup.
- General Charles de Gaulle'svictory over the coups d'état and his entry intoformalnegotiationswith the Algerian National Liberation Front (FLN).
- The victory of Algerian diplomacy over its French counterpart, sothatitwas able to force the FifthRepublic to ceasefire and thenofficiallyrecognize the independent Algerian Republic.
