dc.description.abstractThe phenomenon of school dropout reaches the situation of students who have dropped out of school, and it is one of the most serious problems facing modern societies, with the consequent disruption in social relations and economic activities, and Algeria, like a number of underdeveloped countries, is witnessing high levels of the phenomenon, and is still unable to address it and end its causes. School dropout refers to the joint responsibility of the school and the family in pushing the student to be a victim, and to integrate into groups of illiterate and unemployed, and in the worst circumstances to be within a path of delinquency and criminality, and this phenomenon is in addition to being a state of educational waste, it is a loss of resources and human capital, and a reflection of the failure of the family and the school together in the success of the educational path for students. Addressing the phenomenon of school dropout passes through concerted efforts, raising awareness, reforming patterns of upbringing, whether in the family or school, deepening the desire for learning and knowledge, and accommodating the imbalances in the education system.
