Abstract

The objective of this work is to formulate an ointment using the essential oils of the plant (Artemisia campestris L, Artemisia Herba alba, Juniperus Communis, Mentha Aquatica Rosmarinus Officinalis) which were obtained by water distillation. Then, the effectiveness of essential oils from plants extracted from the Damtha area in Idrissah, Djelfa, was studied during the month of December 2021. The cost-effectiveness of extracting essential oils is between 0.28_2.034% and was compared with the criteria set by the authors. The antioxidant activity of essential oils was evaluated by dpph test. The results showed that it had antioxidant activity. The antioxidant activity of essential oils was also evaluated with each other and a synergistic effect was recorded. The IC50 of essential oils and IC50 of vitamins E, C and BHA were compared. Antibacterial activity was evaluated with 5 bacterial strains. The ointment that they obtained was monitored through several tests, where they obtained it through several tests, where they obtained a homogeneous and stable ointment characterized by the smell of Diqift and a pH of 6.8, which is close to the pH of the skin.
